Körber's future-oriented portfolio is the foundation for a value-adding ecosystem and is based on the expansion and development of our technology stack: We are not only continuously strengthening our expertise in mechanical engineering and process equipment, but have also built up extensive know-how and capacities in the fields of operational software and digital technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Acquisitions and joint ventures play an important role in expanding and strengthening our portfolio, as well as strategic partnerships to provide customers with end-to-end solutions along the entire value chain.

Focus on ecosystem building: Our strategy at a glance

We have divided the group-wide initiatives to implement and support our strategy into three key pillars:

1. We accelerate – strengthening the core business
Körber is already a leader in many areas. We are consolidating this market position by optimizing processes or strengthening our global competitiveness, for example. This will enable us to provide our products and services to our customers even faster and more efficiently in the future.

2. We innovate – integrating new technologies and business models
We invest an above-average amount in research and development in order to continue to live up to our ambition of "market leadership through technology leadership" in the future. This applies to all three levels of our technology stack: hardware, software and digital solutions, which we connect with each other in the best possible way. We see enormous potential for value creation in particular in the use of data with the help of artificial intelligence – which is why cybersecurity is an important priority at Körber.

3. We grow – exploiting new and global markets
Globally positioned, regionally established: With more than 100 locations, we are globally present in order to be as close as possible to our customers and markets and to serve them in the best possible way. In addition to our core markets, we focus in particular on high-growth markets in Asia and North America.

Sustainability is an integral part of our strategy. With the commitment to "Net Zero" CO₂e emissions by 2040, we have set ourselves ambitious goals that we are consistently working towards: In the future, the activities of the entire Körber Group will leave a "Net Zero" footprint.
