From the initial ideas to the finished products, solutions, and services, we think and act as sustainably as possible. We continuously ask ourselves and our partners questions such as how we can save electricity, avoid CO₂e, and conserve materials. In addition, we develop solutions for a more sustainable tomorrow.
However, we focus not only on cutting-edge technologies and innovative products, solutions, and services, but above all on the people who are responsible for them. Our inner drive and conviction are the focus of our Sustainability Report 2023.

This applies to our innovations and to our collaboration with customers, business partners, suppliers, and all other stakeholders. This is especially true when we look ahead. Awards
Our EcoVadis rating: Gold
EcoVadis is an independent platform for sustainability assessments and audits companies with regard to the four criteria: environment, ethics, sustainable procurement, and workers’ and human rights. For the 2023 financial year, the Körber Group has been awarded the Gold Standard. This means that Körber is among the top five percent of companies assessed worldwide.
Sustainability pioneer Körber Campus Pécs in Hungary honoured
The Körber Campus Pécs plays a decisive role in the region by contributing actively to social and economic development. In 2023, the Körber Campus Pécs received recognition by the Hungarian Joint Venture Association for its sustainability activities and was awarded 3rd place in the 'Best Ecosystem Builder' category for its decades-long commitment.
Honoured with the ‘ESG Transparency Award’
We are among the trailblazers in the business world as we have recognized the meaning of sustainable transformation and its transparent reporting and implement it systematically. The ESG Transparency Award 2023 from EUPD Research confirms that this is the case. It rates our voluntary Sustainability Report for 2022 with an ‘Excellence’ classification and a transparency score of 83 percent.
House of Sustainability
Thinking sustainably and acting responsibly requires courage, conviction, and a clear plan. Our ‘House of Sustainability’ shows how we think about sustainability, and in which focus areas we are implementing it. The focus is on the dimensions Environment, Social, and Governance together with their focus fields.

We are forging ahead
Körber pursues ambitious climate targets
In October 2023, we had the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) verify our commitment to achieving net-zero CO₂e emissions throughout the entire value chain by 2040. We would like to introduce you to some of the measures that will help us achieve this ambitious goal.

Our commitments and memberships
We support the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and are members of key associations, federations, and initiatives. These include the UN Global Compact network and the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi), which we have joined.
