Adrian Dürr: Growth through trust

I joined Körber in 2021.
As a Junior Procurement Manager.
My first step into an office role.

Before that, I was a mechanic.
Close to the machine.
Close to day-to-day operations.

Looking back, that combination was a gift:
technical understanding paired with a fresh perspective.

After just over a year as a Junior Procurement Manager, I had the opportunity to move into Production Planning.

A new field.
New responsibilities.
A broader view of the bigger picture.

Production Planning is all about connectivity.
Interfaces.
Processes.
Thinking beyond departmental boundaries.

In September 2023, I was given the opportunity to take on the Team Lead role.

Back then, our team had three people.
Today, we are seven.

We grew.
With the demands.
With the company.
Together.

What made this development possible was not luck.

It was people.

Managers who recognized potential.
Mentors who guided me.
Colleagues who supported me.

There was always someone by my side.
Someone who listened.
Someone who trusted me.

Especially early in your career,
that is invaluable.

For me, that's the most powerful experience at Körber:

The support I received throughout my journey continues to shape me today.
It motivates me to share my knowledge, support others in their development, and help create the same opportunities that I was fortunate enough to receive.

With my personal and professional growth came new opportunities.

Greater responsibility across Operations.
