We give sustainability a home

Discover how Körber's ‘House of Sustainability’ brings our ESG strategy to life—from vision and goals to actions, measurable progress, and results.

Sustainability is our conviction—firmly anchored in the leadership pillar of our LIFE 2035 framework. On this foundation, we aim to fulfill our sustainability promise: "Our activities enable a better life for current and future generations." Our 'House of Sustainability' provides the strategic framework and illustrates how comprehensively we have embedded sustainability into our activities.

Our sustainability management is structured along the three dimensions of Environment, Social, and Governance. In 2025, we conducted a double materiality analysis in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Based on these results, we further developed our focus fields and their sub topics and updated them within our existing ‘House of Sustainability’.

The focus fields play a crucial role in shaping our actions for a sustainable future. For each of these focus fields, we have defined ambitions and clear goals, as well as measurable KPIs. This allows us to manage our initiatives and evaluate our success.

In doing so, we embed our strategic sustainability priorities at both Group and Business Area level, making our sustainability strategy an integral part of Körber's overall corporate strategy.

Environment

We take responsibility for protecting our climate and using energy sustainably. Our goal is to continuously reduce our CO2e emissions and make our energy consumption increasingly efficient. In this way, we contribute actively to mitigating climate change and conserving natural resources.

At the same time, we are consistently advancing our circular economy approach. We focus on keeping materials in use for as long as possible—through recycling, refurbishment, and reuse. This reduces waste, conserves valuable raw materials, and extends the lifespan of our products. In doing so, we create sustainable products, solutions, and services that conserve resources and permanently minimize environmental impacts.

Social

Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. Their safety and health are our highest priority. We strive to create a respectful working environment where everyone feels welcome and can thrive. With targeted training and development opportunities, we support our employees in expanding their skills and shaping their individual career paths.

We also assume responsibility beyond our own organization. Together with our partners, we are committed to fair and safe working conditions throughout the entire value chain. Protecting human rights—especially the prevention of forced and child labor—is a matter of course for us.

At the same time, we take responsibility for the users of our solutions. Consumer safety is a top priority and a central requirement in the design of our products, solutions, and services.

Governance

Integrity and accountability are the foundation of our actions. We uphold high ethical standards and regularly monitor compliance. We expect the same commitment from our partners and suppliers, as only together can we ensure sustainable and reliable supply chains. Through clear expectations, ongoing assessments, and structured supplier management, we create transparency and mitigate risks at an early stage.

Another key focus is the responsible handling of information. Data protection, along with strong cyber and information security, is of the utmost importance to us. We continuously develop our systems and processes to best protect employees, customers, and partners, thereby safeguarding long-term trusted relationships.
