In a world which is becoming increasingly more complex and brings with it new challenges, our sustainability promise remains key at Körber: “Our activities enable a better life for current and future generations.”
We keep our word and take action. Thanks to the unfailing dedication of our employees, we successfully remained steadfast on this course again in 2024. Our EcoVadis Gold Medal and the positive, validating in-house audit of our CO₂e emissions reduction path in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) are just two great examples which affirm our actions and inspire us to stay passionately and responsibly committed to this approach over the coming years.
“We keep our word! Together, we have once again made great progress in sustainability this year. Being awarded EcoVadis Gold and achieving significant CO₂e emission reductions demonstrate that we are on the right track to reaching our ambitious targets by 2040.”
Stephan Seifert, Chairman of the Group Executive Board of Körber AG
EcoVadis is an independent platform for sustainability assessments and audits companies with regard to the four criteria: environment, ethics, sustainable procurement, and workers’ and human rights. For the 2024 financial year, the Körber Group has been awarded the Gold Medal. This means that Körber is among the top five percent of companies assessed worldwide.
CyberVadis, an EcoVadis subsidiary, is a platform dedicated to evaluating companies’ cyber security standards. Körber’s security architecture and our security measures safeguarding confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and information were rated as excellent with 925 points out of 1,000 and awarded the Gold Medal once more.
CDP (the Carbon Disclosure Project) is a globally renowned non-profit organization which assesses companies based on their transparency and performance in addressing climate change. Körber underwent a CDP assessment as a Group for the first time in 2024 and obtained a respectable score at its first attempt with a B.
The key to successful CO₂e emissions reduction in all three emissions categories as per the GHG Protocol is trust-based cooperation between employees, partners, customers, and suppliers.
As an international technology group with around 13,000 employees, Körber favors a corporate culture defined by constructive collaboration.
