Main differences

Rapid Decon Station vs. Rapid Decon Hatch

The Rapid Decon Station (RDS) serves as a flexible alternative to a Rapid Decon Hatch (RDH) which is typically connected directly to an isolator.  

By enabling offline decontamination, materials such as monitoring tools or filling needles are prepared in the station in advance and then transported in RTP containers to the filling machine, unlike what happens with the RDH that is directly connected to an isolator. 

This allows for the security of bringing in consumables at any time to meet production schedules while ensuring safe, Grade A storage during the pharmaceutical production process.
