Storage optimization with high-bay warehouse implementation for Sineurope

Case study

In order to achieve a higher storage density at Sineurope, one of Asia’s biggest premium seafood suppliers, Körber implemented an automated high-bay warehouse consisting of a 31-metre-high freezer-rated pallet stacker crane equipped with two autonomous satellite vehicles (ASV), and created more than 2,800 pallet locations.

Results

2,800+ pallet locations in compact space

Körber’s freezer-rated automated high-bay warehouse with a 31 m stacker crane and two autonomous satellite vehicles delivered over 2,800 pallet storage positions within a small footprint. replacing what would have required 1,900 m² of manual storage.

Up to 240 m/min travel speed

The pallet stacker crane operates at a travel speed of up to 240 m/min, supporting rapid movement even in cold-room conditions down to –30 °C.

Lower energy costs & improved efficiency

Automation eliminated the need for external storage, maximised land use, reduced labour dependency, and lowered energy consumption and cooling losses compared to manual operations.
