One central OCR solution for all shipments

Körber implemented an enhanced Optical Character Recognition system that reads all six sides of parcels, enabling New Zealand Post to handle letters, flats, and parcels with one unified solution.

Integrated central video coding system deployed

A central video coding system was integrated across existing and new parcel hubs, allowing efficient coding and quality control of all mail types without disrupting ongoing operations. 

Seamless system extension during live operations

The project extended existing sorting and management systems—including address database and video coding—at four sites while sorting operations continued, with remote collaboration throughout implementation.
