Ahorramas implemented a fully automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) designed to manage up to 572 frozen-goods pallets, maximizing warehouse utilization in limited space and supporting rapid product flow to stores.

Automatic cold-chain handling across 2 levels with 2 pallet shuttles

The solution uses two pallet shuttles with autonomous satellite vehicles, enabling compact, multi-depth storage and fast retrieval even at extreme operating temperatures of -20 °C, reducing manual effort in severe conditions. 

Continuous operations 6 days/week, 16 h/day (expandable to 24/7)

The automated warehouse operates currently 6 days a week for 16 hours per day, with the capacity to run 365 days a year around the clock, providing resilient frozen goods supply coverage for Ahorramas’s store network.
