Press release

Körber sells its minority stake in Magazino

Körber sells its minority stake in the robotics company Magazino. Magazino develops and produces perception-controlled, mobile robots that fully automate the movement of unit loads in intralogistics.

Since 2018, Körber has held shares as one of several co-shareholders alongside Cellcom, Fiege Logistik, Jungheinrich, and others, which enabled the start-up to scale and develop its business. Now, Hamburg-based company Jungheinrich is fully acquiring the robotics specialist Magazino.

Erich Hoch, COO/CTO of the Körber Group, states: "I am very pleased that we were able to contribute to the further development of Magazino with our commitment as an innovation driver. The strategic acquisition by Jungheinrich now paves the way for a successful future for the former start-up as the consecutive logical step. We congratulate and wish them continued success."

The transaction will take effect immediately.
