Gabriele Fanta takes responsibility for Group Human Resources

Gabriele Fanta will become the new Head of Group Human Resources for Körber on 1 December 2020, succeeding Dr. Ulrich Braig. Fanta comes from Sixt SE, where she was responsible for global human resources as "President Global People Management".

After completing her studies in business administration, Gabriele Fanta began her career in the marketing department at Mercedes Benz AG in Stuttgart (Germany), where she took on various international specialist and management positions as part of her professional development – including at the Chrysler Group in Michigan, USA.

After holding various management positions at E.ON and EnBW in the field of communications, Gabriele Fanta joined McDonalds in 2013, where she acted as Chief Human Resources Officer for Germany before joining Sixt. At Sixt SE, Gabriele was responsible for the entire HR department worldwide and most recently played a key role in the digital and international expansion of HR instruments.

In addition, Gabriele Fanta was a member of the Presidential Board of the Confederation of German Employers' Associations from 2016 to 2018.

Stephan Seifert, Chairman of the Group Executive Board of Körber AG, emphasizes: "Gabriele Fanta will make a significant contribution to the successful and future-oriented further development of the Körber Group with her broad and sound experience in human resources, organizational development and committee work."
