Körber at FachPack 2025

Strong interest in innovative palletizing and packaging solutions

The trade fair presentation focused on automated palletizing systems, including a robot-assisted solution and a modern layer palletizer that combine high performance, precise handling, and sustainability in compact, modular systems.

The PA16 layer palletizer is ideal for universal use in palletizing plastic crates, cartons, stackable baskets, film-wrapped packs, and other products, even for the most complex palletizing tasks. The system is particularly space-efficient and adaptable to structural conditions. A typical application is its use as an end-of-line palletizer behind packaging machines, for example in the bakery and food industry.

The EcoPal modular system consists of a robotic palletizer with a double-fork layer gripper for handling entire layers, a single-product infeed, and pallet conveyor technology. The system can be customized and is also suitable for palletizing a wide variety of products without format parts. In addition to a high cycle rate of up to 4 layers per minute, the EcoPal system is characterized by sustainable operation, including an energy recovery rate of up to 25%.

Both systems form the perfect conclusion to complete end-to-end solutions for the manufacturing industry. They address specific requirements such as changing batch sizes, packaging, and products, as well as overarching challenges like digitalization, labor shortages, and sustainability.

The Körber Ecosystem also combines these competencies with industry expertise in a holistic approach, which was reflected in the presence of Körber’s Pharma division at the Fachpack booth.

This division presented packaging solutions for pharmaceuticals. Made from biocompatible materials such as recyclable cartons, compostable sachets, and eco-friendly tubes, they offer sustainability without compromising performance.
