Dr. Roland König, Project Manager for the Körber New Construction Hamburg, commented: “Our project is progressing well. With the timely approval of the final building permit, we remain on schedule. Construction of the building shell will begin in the second quarter.”

Dr. Stefan Hofmann, Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Executive Board of Körber Technologies GmbH, added: “Our special thanks go to the employees of the Bergedorf district authority, who processed the building application with great dedication and in a spirit of constructive collaboration. Their support has made a significant contribution to reaching this important milestone.”

The new Körber site in Hamburg will consolidate the existing locations of Körber Technologies GmbH on Kurt-A.-Körber-Chaussee in Hamburg-Bergedorf and in Schwarzenbek, Schleswig-Holstein. The modern and sustainable complex will comprise nearly 50,000 square meters of floor space, bringing together administration, development, production, and logistics under one roof in line with the latest standards.

Körber is investing more than €200 million in the Hamburg project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. Körber Technologies GmbH serves as the headquarters of Körber’s Technologies Business Area, one of the four business areas of the international technology group Körber.
