Körber with new Group Executive Board Member for Technology and Operations

The Supervisory Board of Körber AG has appointed Erich Hoch as a member of the Körber AG Group Executive Board with effect from September 1, 2018. Hoch will assume responsibility on the Group Executive Board for Technology and Operations. He succeeds Michael Horn, who left the Group at the end of April.

Richard Bauer, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Körber AG, emphasizes: "Erich Hoch brings in comprehensive and international experience in innovation, technology and supply chain management. We are also delighted that in him we have gained an expert for Körber who has already successfully combined these topics with the opportunities of digitization in practice. Mr. Hoch will also continue to expand our approaches in operational excellence in the Group on the course already taken. Together with his colleagues on the Group Executive Board, Hoch will push ahead with the implementation of key components for the Group's successful digital advancement and contribute to further strengthening our claim to market leadership through technology leadership – especially with his many years of experience in the American and Asian markets."

Erich Hoch has been with Jabil Circuit Corporation, based in Saint Petersburg, Florida, since 2002, where he held various leadership and management roles on a global corporate level. Among others, Mr. Hoch was Senior Vice President Supply Chain, Executive Vice President Engineering & Technology, and CEO of Jabil Packaging Division. Currently, he is Executive Vice President and CEO Digital Solutions. Prior to joining Jabil, he spent 18 years with Philips Electronics in various positions.
